Planning a little differently . . .
I'm planning a little differently this semester. I usually plan in a more linear fashion, but I used mapping this time. I chose some spa music from Pandora, poured a glass of "we'll call it coffee" and just started thinking about what I thought was important for my students to learn and in what order to learn it. Then, I double-checked my concepts to the standards and thought about possible essential questions. It's still a work in progress, but I enjoyed this process immensely.
